Unglazed fine art. Bellissima!
This frame package is my personal favourite: a master fine art print float-mounted in an Italian-made box frame crafted from solid timber, uninterrupted by any glazing.
The final presentation is just beautiful. Although it might seem a bit precarious without a solid pane of acrylic, before being recessed into the Italian timber moulding the print is treated with a specially formulated protectant - delicately applied in a way that leaves a stunning matte finish.
Prints are produced on exquisite 300gsm cotton art pulp papers (either smooth or coarsely textured), with or without hand-torn deckled edges and a 5mm white border. The Italian timber frame includes hanging hardware and is available in three finishes: whitewashed, Nero (matte black) or Scandi (natural varnished timber).
